**UPDATE: At Pinky Swear Foundation, our top priority is the health and safety of our family (All-Stars, volunteers, fundraisers, donors, partners, staff and more). Due to the unprecedented COVID-19 crisis, Pinky Swear Foundation has made the difficult decision to modify our annual Pinky Swear Gala event to a completely virtual experience.
Even though we need to modify this event to keep our Pinky Swear family safe, the brave kids with cancer we support and their families need us more than ever. In the wake of this health crisis, these kids with immunosuppressed systems are considered high-risk and the financial and emotional tolls on their families are devastating. You can help TODAY by marking your calendars and making the choice to join us on May 16.

This event will be streamed LIVE right here, as well as on our Facebook page! You can even create your own Facebook Watch Party to virtually gather with your friends to enjoy the expereince together. Instructions on how to create your own Pinky Swear Virtual Gala Watch Party are posted below.

Step-by-step Instructions to Create a Facebook Watch Party
- Find Pinky Swear Foundation's Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/pinkyswearfoundation/)
- Scroll down on the feed
- Find the LIVE Gala video
- Click "Share"
- Once you click share a pop-up box appears
- At the top of the pop-up box it says “Start a Watch Party” to the far right it says “See All”
- Click “See All”
- Then pops up a post that you can then write in a post of your own while sharing the video
- Then click "Start"
- You have now created a Watch Party to your own Facebook Page
- Once you have created a Watch Party, you can then share it to different groups or invite friends
- Inviting friends comes after you have created the Watch Party
- Your screen will have half of the LIVE video and the other half is a comment section
- Above the comment section is an “Invite Friends” button
- Last, sit back and enjoy the event!

Where can I watch the program?
It will be streamed on Facebook, Instagram, and here on our website.
Do I have to make donations using a credit card?
You can make donations via credit card. But if you would like to make via non-credit card methods such as check, donor advised funds, or gift of stock, please contact Lacey Kraft at email@example.com.
Can I watch this with my friends?
Yes! We have instructions listed above on how to use the Facebook platform, ‘Watch Party’. You can make this fun by creating your own virtual gala ‘table’ and watch with your friends and colleagues – or use this as a networking opportunity!
If I bid on something, even an ‘instant purchase’ donation, when will I be charged?
We will not be charging credit cards until the day AFTER the gala. If you need to make changes to a bid or a donation before the gala, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
I have a partner or spouse. Do we need to register separately?
No - only if you want to. If you are using the same payment method, there is no need to register separately. But you certainly can if you want to.
Do I have to pick-up my silent auction items or can they be mailed to me?
All online silent auction items are clearly marked as a pick-up only item or if we can mail it to you. All pick-up only items must be picked-up from our main office located in Edina, MN.
Is there an incentive to register for the online silent auction early?
Yes! Not only will you get early access to bidding, you will also be entered to a drawing to win an overnight Tesla rental AND a $100 Amazon gift card (both were donated).
Do I have to watch at 5:30pm CST on Saturday, May 16?
Yes, please! There will be more excitement and attention if we can get everyone to watch at the same time. Anyone who is pre-registered on our bidding site will get email and text reminders just prior to the event.
Will the program be available after May 16 if I miss it or can’t make it?
Yes – the program will be posted to our Facebook page, as well as our event page here after the LIVE streaming is over so you can watch (again) at your convenience.
What should I wear?
You know we’ve all been wearing yoga pants for far too long. Wear your gala attire! Dress up and have fun! Make a virtual happy hour with friends! Or just wear your pajama chic. :)
