5th Annual Pinky Swear Gala
Before nine-year-old Mitch Chepokas died from cancer in 2003, his dad made a pinky swear promise to continue to help children with cancer and their families. Since then, over $14 million has been raised to support families all across the U.S. We invite you to join us at the Pinky Swear Gala, celebrating the 15th anniversary of that pinky swear promise.

Our favorite emcee and pinky swear "keeper" is back: KARE11's Eric Perkins.
Eric Perkins joined KARE 11 in November of 1996 as a sports reporter and in 2012 was named weeknight sports anchor and sports director at KARE. As a sports reporter Perkins gained much attention with "Perk at Play." Created in the winter of 1997, the hands-on segment won several awards - including an Emmy. A Los Angeles native, Eric graduated from Pepperdine University, majoring in Broadcasting. Eric is the mastermind behind Perk's Pinky Swear MessFest, a youth and family slopstacle that benefits Pinky Swear, celebrating it's fifth year in 2018. Eric and his wife Shelley call the Twin Cities home, and keep busy raising their three children.
