Charlotte, NC (January 11, 2018)—The third annual Pinky Swear Orange and Blue Gala will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2018 from 6:30-11:00 pm at the beautiful Trump National Golf Club situated on the shores of Lake Norman in Mooresville, North Carolina. The evening’s program will feature local All-Stars – kids with cancer – and their families who have been supported by Pinky Swear.

Six family-focused events in Midwest communities raise money to support those in need

WEST DES MOINES, Iowa (Oct. 11, 2017) — Hy-Vee, Inc., in partnership with Pinky Swear Foundation, a national charitable organization that supports children with cancer and their families, announced today that its summer events have raised more than $882,000 from 4,331 participants to support the organization’s critical mission.

MINNEAPOLIS - The Hy-Vee Pinky Swear Kids Triathlon is returning for its 14th year next Saturday at Lake Nokomis.

Participants have already raised tens of thousands of dollars so far.

Some of the top young fundraisers -- Ariana, Gabi and Michael Feygin -- stopped by the KARE 11 studios to talk about their participation. They say the best part of doing it is "getting to help other kids."

Hy-Vee Pinky Swear 5K and Fun Run stresses fun and fundraising

On a gray day in Minneapolis in 2003, Steve and Becky Chepokas suffered the devastating loss of their son, Mitch, to cancer. From that barren ground of grief, a charitable organization and thriving altruistic event has bloomed – the Pinky Swear Foundation and its road race for children.

Sunday morning, on a bright, muggy day along the Mississippi River, more than 500 area runners took part in the third annual Hy-Vee Pinky Swear 5K and Fun Run at Davenport’s Centennial Park.
